Coffee bean pen

My lady bought a coffee bean blank recently from woodcraft. She liked the scent. My question is after the blank is finished does it retain the scent? I suspect that if I just sand and buff it should, but...?

It will stay for a while evan after applying the ca. Mine stayed for about 2 weeks and then it went away.

Once you apply CA the odor is sealed in. Too bad.

I just made one the other night. And my results where a shop filled with coffe roast smells until I sealed with CA than in an instant smell was sealed and ended. No more smell at all.
