I had a few extra parts and decided to do something with them. European nib, Americana clip, and slimline brass tubes wrapped with Two tone Amboyna burl. CA/BLO finish, thanks for looking.

Great use of parts. The work on the clip is very nice.

Only think I may have done differently is to have increased the difference in diameter in the upper and lower parts of the pen. It looks like they're similar, but not exactly the same. I think when it's a little more obvious, it comes across as more intentional. As it looks now, it's so darn close it looks almost like one of the two is slightly off center.

I'd say once you nail that, you'd have a real winner. Less kit is more a lot of times, I'd love to see more pens made like this.

And you say I'm raising the bar , why don't you just kick it up a few more notches so I can never reach it !!! ....LOL
Beautiful Joe , love the center band .

You cant go wrong with Amboyna, and the fact that this is kitless makes it even better. I think you nailed it! I like the diameters and how the upper matches the ring. If you would have made it more oversized, it would just look like a typical euro. This way you made it screem "original !" I like it. Its very inspirational. Thank you!
