Hi,
This is a first attempt for me to create a 'custom' roller (but can be converted to fountain pen) with double closed end. Clipless and non postable. Zebrano, padauk and ebony wood. 153mm long, 37g of weight in roller configuration.
I had to make two mandrels out of boxwood to hold the barrel and the cap respectively.

Great pen! Glad you were successful with the boxwood mandrels!
Thanks a lot Rich.
I used my spring collet chuck to turn the boxwood with the same inner diameter of the cap and the barrel tube. I replicated a DIY mandrel as explained somewhere here in the forum, but I cannot figure out where is the message right now...

That's a beautiful pen, and I really like how it can be converted from being a roller ball to a fountain. The only drawback for me, is that it has no clip. I realize that a lot of people prefer clipless, but I am not one of those people. I prefer a clip, if for no other reason then to prevent it from rolling away.

Beautiful pens! Excellent and well done. Great photography too! I enjoy looking a beautiful pens in which there is very few background articles to draw the eye away, including no competing background colors.

Brumar, you most certainly correct, this is another beautiful pen. But, it would have to be rollerball type, seeing as how I press down hard when writing. So hard, that I can't use a fountain pen, but I have tried a few with very poor results.
