Closed end with Mother of Pearl Inlay from NH

This is my first try at a closed end pen. It was really fun to make so I decided to take my parting tool and make a nice notch in the end and inlay strips of Mother of Pearl. It isn't perfect by a long shot but I really like the way it came out. It is made out of Rosewood and Jr Gent 1 hardware I got from Smitty.

Very nice looking pen, Mike. That's a nice piece of rosewood. Hard to see the inlys well, but looks good from what can see.

Closed end addiction for you now! Someone should have warned him
Might need to prop the end with something and re-shoot the photo for the inlay 'end-on', it's a little hard to tell what is going on.....




Nicely turned, and I like the shape.
