Closed End Question

I want to do some closed end Jr Gent II rollerballs. The problem is that I can't get the spring out of the end cap. Is there a trick to it or is there a source for replacement springs?

With a pair of needle nosed plairs or one of those pointed dentists picks, hook a loop and pull. A slight twist to tighten the spring will help, but they just pop out.

Thanks. I suspected that but I didn't want to take a chance on ruining the spring.

The spring is not needed. I actually like the feel when writing if the spring is not used. But, careful measurement and accurate drilling is required.

A crochet hook is a good tool to have for such things.
