Figured it was time to up my repertoire and try a closed-end pen.

Cambridge rollerball, Brooks bronze/turquoise blank.

Nice work!!! Is that a metallic band of some sort at the cap end? I'd like to see it without the mirror base...easier to see a cool pen!

Nope, no metal band, simpe turned groove embelishment. Not a mirror. 3/8" black acrylic. Provides an interesting effect, though I do like a plain background as well. Difficult thing with black acrylic is dust elimination. No matter how thorougly you clean it, under certain lighting conditions the dust will still show.
