Can anyone point me in the direction of a/some web sites that have (copyright free) clip art/images that I could use, flowers, patterns etc?

I would just plug in public domain clip art or free clip art, you might have to sort through a bit to be absolutely sure it's free, but that should guide you in the right direction.
