Cleaning the shop

I found several boxes of pen blank sized wood in the corners I'll never use while doing a bit of cleaning. Anybody convenient to Marietta Ga. can have this. It has some bradford pear, slightly spalted, some crosscut oak, a few other kinds scattered in.

If no one here speaks up, consider donating the blanks to a local high school Tech Ed class if they still have a shop and lathes.
Another thought is the Lighthouse for the Blind. I'm sure Sharon would appreciate the donation.

There are a few handicapped members of IAP who have recently made known their need for blanks and other things.

Two of them that come to mind are ..... rmiller ..... and ..... Phixius ..... . . You could contact them and ask them if they are still in need.

If none else, I will drill, glue tubes for the "Turning with a vision" program. This is the new name for the Woodturners with Visual Impairments project.
