Clarinet Barrel Shaped Flameworked Marble Topped Stopper

A fine professional clarinetist friend heard I was making flameworked marble topped stoppers and requested an African black wood (Dalbergia melanoxylon) clarinet barrel-shaped stopper.

Nice color match with his clarinet.

Beautiful piece! I just had an interesting read on Wikipedia about the exotic African wood, dalbergia melanoxylon, which apparently is used frequently in the manufacture of musical instruments and fine furniture. And now bottle stoppers!

This bottle stopper will inevitably outshine any bottle of wine it stops.

I was expecting a clarinet top shaped flame worked marble. May be hard to shoot, but you would hit a lot of marbles with it. LOL. Quite nice.
