Cigar with bowling ball

Got some time in the garage yesterday. Put together this one for a gift. Black cigar from Woodcraft with pieces do bowling balls.

That blue is fantastic. I'd make a whole pen out of that. Is it ebonite? I understand old bowling balls were sometimes ebonite. Cool!

None of these are ebonite. I do have a black and red swirl that I believe is. My next pen is going to be from the blue. Its skin is thick enough to get a whole body out of. Most are only about 1/2" thick.

How did you get bowling ball pieces?

I lived in OKC for a decade. Moved 6 months before the bombing.
