Cigar Segmented Pen

I have not constructed very many pens in the past few years.....too busy with other stuff, like making segmented pen blanks. However , this year I plan on making a few for Christmas gifts. The first one, in the picture, I just completed is a Bright Chrome Cigar Pen with the top piece made of 8 colors of corian and end caps of four pieces of wood plus red veneer . The bottom piece is sugar maple and the same wood end caps. The other three blanks shown in the picture are A 360 degree herringbone blank, B a reversed spiral blank and C my newest design is a 5 reversed spiral pattern blank. These 3 are all possible blanks for my next pens.

Beautiful work as always Joe!

The pen and second blank are of your typical high quality, but the reversed spirals are a step above in my opinion. I bet the Herringbone took the most time, but blank #3 is my favorite.
