This kit appeared to be new but the bag label and instruction sheet was missing, was part of a hobby collection I recently bought. Guessing it's a Cigar kit. Like the fit and finish on the bocote body but not the way it functions. Twist the top barrel to extend the lead, twist and hold then push in the lead to retract, simple enough. Problem is the top barrel is press fit onto a plastic mechanism and it slips if twisted too hard, must be very delicate to avoid slipping, and is too easy to pull off. Quite sure it's built correctly, this ain't rocket science, believe it's a poor design and overall the kit feels cheap. Anyone else experience the same with this kit? Was worth the build for newbie practice so all is not lost but wouldn't do this kit again.
