The blank came from Ryan at woodturz.......I just told him to send me a mixture.....I sanded to 12000 then eee then stick wax.....i am new so who knows if its right or wrong...LOL

Thanks again for all the nice comments. Being a beginner it is nice to know that the top guys in here think I am doing ok. Its a constant learning process and I just hope I can be as half as good as some of the turners I see on here.

This pen looks very nice! You did a good job on it! If you were to use a plastic polish instead of the EEE, and then Rennaissance Wax instead of the stick wax, it might be just a bit better, but not so you'd notice! ;-) I like working with acrylics, and I think your pen is a good example of why - it is just beautiful stuff!

Pen looks great, just as long as you can answer the big question... Did you have fun or learn something?

Even when a pen comes out bad, the good think is I learnded something. When a pen comes out as nice as that one, you get two wins on the board.
