Cigar and ashtray

I have been wanting to try and make one of these since I saw one here. This is my first try all advice would be appreciated. The ashes are buckeye burl, cigar wood from Georges bits of timber, ashtray walnut. Ashes have no finish and the cigar was walnut oil.

This looks awesome! Are there tutorials out there on how to make one like this? I have a lot of cigar friends that would love something like this.

Yes there are a couple in the IAP Library that is where I got my information. Also some post where others have made them talk about finishes and the ashes. Thanks for the kind comments.

My but that is a great finished project. Well done in all respects. Thank you for sharing, will give others some inspiration I'm sure.
