Finally had time to get back in the garage to turn a pen I had not tried before - a Churchill from Exotic Blanks in cocobolo

What he said. Very nice. I have a very nice piece of Cocobolo that I've been saving, thinking maybe putting it on one of the Datacom Jr series pens, BUT now I may try it on a Churchill or an El Grande. Thanks!

I too had been holding that piece of wood just for a special occasion. Never turned a Churchill but am planning on doing more!!

Greetings from Columbus! Very nice pen! Cocobolo is such a wonderful wood. I've turned some from blanks that start out looking pretty plain but wound up with amazing variability in the colors. It's also nice to see work from a fellow Nebraskan. - Dave
