Chrome Navigator dressed in Curly Maple

I did things a little bit different with this Navigator. I turned the lower barrel straight and the upper barrel a bit concaved and since it's been a while since I've done a custom finial I though I should do one. All C&C are welcome.

That's a great looking pen. Too bad photos don't show how 3D the curly maple really is. That cap wood must be razor thin in the middle. I'd be really scared to do a concave cap on that kit. And those kits just scream for a custom finial. Good Job! :good:

Thank you for all the fantastic comments. Michael as for the bushing dust. I tried something new with that. I wrapped all but about a1/16" of bushings with blue painters tape and it work out really well.
