I made yet his pen for my wife and gave it to her for Christmas today. Her first fountain pen.

Hemlock pine cones cast in resin. I colored the alumilite using black and blue mica powder. Then drizzled in a bit of resin with white dye right before potting it. The hole was painted her favorite color, purple. Finished with CA, wet micromesh, then Beale buffed.

The kit is Jr. George which comes with a No. 6 Jowo nib. I filled it with Noodlers Turquoise Eel ink.

Thanks for looking. Coments and critiques welcomed. I messed up something pretty important. Let's see if anyone can spot it.

Sorry Todd, I don't see anything wrong with this pen. Quite the contrary. I like the blank a lot. The drizzle of white made a nice accent. I like the Hemlock Pine cones. All very nice.

Thank you for the kind comments. My wife agrees with all of you which makes me happy.

I think that I reversed the connectors. The sized rings are in the appropriate places. But the converter pump would only fit through the bottom of the pen and not the nib end. I solved it by swapping out the converter for a slightly smaller one from an Atrax kit.
