Thanks,to both. @ Old Codger, the brass all came out of the scrap bin. 1.250 red brass hex that I turned into a shape I liked then bored out to fit a candle ( I really hope it's a standard size ?) The handle was .125 x .750, 360 (yellow) brass flat stock, annealed and bent to shape.
The rose came from a pattern I found online about a year ago. I finally ordered some 16oz copper and worked up the courage to try. It turned out to be ridiculously easy to make. After Christmas I'll see if I can make a video, or at least write up a better explanation with step by step pics
