Christmas Gifts!!

Well, i finally decided to buy my wife the Canon Rebel T3i. It comes with the 18-55mm, 75-300, nice camera bag, 16gb Professional SD card and I purchased separately the 50mm as well. I couldnt resist the deals online any more. But it wont only benefit her, i can use it now to make all of my upcoming videos in HD!

I am looking forward to the spring time and finally getting the opportunity to make the video series about "snakeskin blanks-start to finish".

Anyway, funny that i bought it for the wife but i am finding myself using it more.

here is a picture of the dog using the 50mm with f-stop set to 1.8(ATTACHED PHOTOS). All i did was resize them. Now Im sure there could have been some tweaking done to them, but this was pretty much just point and shoot! Not to bad IMO. The last pic is my size 12 Crocs the wife bought me. I was also testing the focal point there as well.

You know i had to also take a picture of one of my coins too! I have some work to do though with these, they are a little bit harder to photograph, but fun none the less!

thanks Jim, me too, they have "wool" type lining on the inside that make them super warm! the last pair i had was so worn out that wife was ready to throw them away, but i just couldnt part from them. It was like having your favorite pair of (add whatever you cant part from in this space) thrown away:tongue:

I hope that works out for you better than it did or me. I gave Ruth a chainsaw for her birthday and she refuses to let me use it. Reconsidering getting her a drill press for the next one!
