On the thread about metal lathes, I posted a pic of a tap and die just as a bit of fun, as the question had been asked about thread cutting jigs. I then wanted to see if I could do it with reasonable results. This pen is from my dwindling stock of brass lock scraps. There is only one piece of brass from the tip to the first zig zag. It also has a twist mech inside, as I didn't want to struggle with locating the refill. The zig zag shapes were cut with a router mounted at 45degs on my compound table. The brass piece on the end of the pen pulls off like the one on the Broker pen to change the refill. LOML said it looks like a Cristmas Cracker, before it vanished into her stash.
