Been Experimenting with new casting material - chiyogami paper commonly used for origami. Cast in PR. Wet sanded to 1000 grit and polished with HUT twice.

The kit is a Pacifica Petroglyph series - Turtle (Honu) 10K Gold

Branden, that's a very pretty paper, and a great job of casting as well, it really makes a nice visual statement, your finish looks fine, and the kit pulls it all together, Nice Job..

Was there a problem with the seam when you made it?

Hi Toni,

Not really for two reasons (1) I used an overlap butt joint and (2) I picked a pattern that has minimal repeats for the circumference of the tube.
