Chilean Lapis Sierra Vista

I had a little time today in the shop so decided to try another truestone pen. This one is Chilean Lapis and is very hard with metal veins throughout. Makes you really appreciate a good ole piece of maple to turn!

I knew I was in for some fun when I was cutting the blank on the band saw and sparks started flying!
