I was casting some cherry pit pen and bottle stopper blanks and remembered I hadn't turned a stopper in a while, so I took a little time out. I'm really happy with the transparent red and how well it works with the seeds. I admit the pics aren't the best but I'm just happy I remembered to take a photo before I give it away. Thanks for looking!

Perfect color for the resin.

The overall appearance triggered my girlfriend's trypophobia when I showed her what I was looking at.

That's really cool. I agree about it being the perfect color. I sense a little retro vibe with the pattern that emerged from it. Groovy!
Do you put CA or some other finish on those since some of the pits are exposed as you turn?

Very nice, John!

I am curious...how do you get the resin to fully penetrate the pits so they aren't voids full of air?

Sorry but that is the pits. Seriously… you are a seriously talented blank maker. Love your work.
