Cherry pen blank

Cherry wood pen made for my nephew from wood cut from an old log found in his father's woods. (Kevin thought the tree was down for about five years.) I cross cut the pen blank. This pen was finished with Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C. New finish for me. No shine – wood looks very natural.

Looks great, very nice work! The wood goes with the hardware color and the no shine finish works well with it also.
