Cherry Bowl

This is my first attempt at turning a piece from green wood. This was from a cherry tree my neighbor cut down a few weeks ago. The piece I used was the part of the trunk where the main branches connect to the tree. The walls of the bowl are about 1/8" thick; you can see in the bottom of the bowl where the main branches were growing.

Green turning certainly produces some interesting results.
