Cherry and Ebonite

Still Figuring out this Kit less thing. Had a really pretty piece of cherry left over but not enough for a cap and a barrel. Decided to make the cap out of Ebonite to match the section. I also thought I would try making a barrel that could be posted without threading. I started the threads in the cap about 10 mm so damage wouldn't be done to those threads. Finish is CA. I put a little button in the cap, thinking it would tie the cap to the barrel. Not sure I like that. Still working on shapes. Any comments are appreciated.

Thanks, I'm still not sure about the button. I don't think it's actually a finial but am still learning the terminology I am also still learning how to dril holes but am getting excellent at mixing epoxy to put parts back together :-/
