I recently made some cutting boards with matching cheese boards in a smaller format. I wanted to find some nice knives to turn so I found this online:

I bought some as the price seemed decent, about $4 to $6 depending on the type. I'm not really thrilled with how they go together compared to this set at Rockler:

I love the construction of this and that it uses a threaded mandrel and it seems to be much better made. It is of course more expensive, $39.94 for a set of 4, and an additional $17.95 for a matching cheese plane. Does anyone have a source for this set at a better price?

Also, does anyone have experience with the CS USA cheese knives, and if so, how do you like them? Maybe I should just turn several and maybe they will be better than I think? Any comments / suggestions would be welcome. Thanks in advance, David
