Hawaiian curly koa from WoodTurningz (exhibition) on a Majestic Jr. antique brass and antique pewter. I'm sold.

You know, I turned a pen from Koa a year or so ago, first time I'd ever touched the wood. It wasn't figured or curly Koa, and I just chalked it up as a decently nice looking reddish wood that wasn't anything particularly special.

Sounds like I need to try curly Koa :D This is spectacular.
