Late last year I was fortunate enough to meet a great lady who was heading a fund raiser for "Fallen Patriots". I donated two pens that I thought would be nice for anybody to own. Well today she informed me that the event was a huge success and the pens were a great hit. I thought I would share the prices that they realized with the forum.

Take care and best wishes everyone. Sorry for not posting any new pens, but travel and work has been crazy and I may not have a chance to get in the shop till next year. Lots of new design ideas...just no time to execute.

Considering you hide most of your pens in the bottom of a closet:eek:, I am glad to hear some good money was raised with the one that were good enough to show the public. Always look forward to seeing what you havein store. Hope you get some shop time in the near future.

Come on now, I don't hide them...I just haven't found the right ones to display yet  We just bought a new house so when my travel slows down I'll get around to picking up a display case to put some of my pens and metal detecting finds from Germany in. Not hiding though:smile:

Congrats Tim! I figured you have been busy!! Haven't seen you around at all....

I can only imagine the thought in your brain.....:cool:

Take care and get into the shop whenever you can! I want to see something new.....

Thanks everyone! I was just happy to be a part of something this cool. A couple of you know what I do and who I support and understand why I truly have zero shop time, but when things cool off I'll be sure to get back into the shop. I mean really...I have a brand new metal lathe sitting on the counter that has yet to have the break in period done to it...that's how busy things have been. Well, I guess I'll have to lurk around from time to time and I will say that Jonathon sent me a pretty awesome incentive to get into the shop, ha ha ha. Take care everyone and best wishes

Great pens for a great cause. Just think, if the world was a better place, you would not have a job and just think of all the cool pens you could make then.

I know right! But it's more about the people I support on these trips that makes the lack of shop time tolerable. All the extra travel pay will allow me to buy some proper equipment for the new shop, in the new house. Just wish I had more family time with little ones running around the house.

But yes, more cool pens, ha ha ha:rolleyes:

Your inspiring work and beautiful pens has been missed. For my part, your pens went way too cheap. congratulations on the sales.

That's awesome Tim! I'm glad they brought in a good amount for charity. That is sad that you have to be away from your family so frequently. Cherish your moments together when you get them. Enjoy that extra heavy paper weight until you can get to turning it :wink:. Thanks for sharing the numbers with us!

Thanks everyone! Always nice to give back and it's always better than having them sit in a box out of sight as previously noted, ha ha ha
