Got this sheet of Charcoal Cebloplast some time back when I had myself convinced that I was going to do kitless and I was getting a metal lathe as well. Well reality has set it and let me know I don't have time for a kit pen much less kitless, but not fast enough to stop me from droping $100 on this sheet. I was going to chop it up and sell it as blanks but I would rather just get out from under it. It is a 6.25"x14.25"x0.67" (158.75mm x 361.95mm x 17mm) slab of Charcoal Cebloplast (looks like granite). If you cut it on the short end you should be able to squeeze 14+ blanks out of it.

$100 for the slab
$15 Shipping - Due to the 14.25" it has to ship in a LFRB

I would also be open to trade for some nice whole burls or large pieces of nicely figured wood. Not looking for precut pen blanks but large pieces that I can cut as I see fit.

FWIW this is a great deal ... I can't justify it right now. SWMBO would have my head!

You could get 20 17mm square blanks that are 6.25" long. A single blank (6"x16mm dia.) at a popular IAP vendor is $15 each ... 20 would be $300! This is well over half price delivered!

I wish I had the money. FWIW, 6.25" is a little short for turning on a metal lathe. Who ever cuts this up, should cut it lengthwise to get two blanks. JMO

Working a trade with Robert. Items should be shipping each way in the next couple of days. Thanks everyone for your interest.
