For those of us (Me) who are somewhat mechanically challenged,
what is the easiest way to remove the bearings from the headstock on my Jet Mini 1014.. mine are beginning to rattle a little, so I think it's time to change them.
I bought bearing last July when I first thought I had a problem, but after a little cleaning and such, decided they weren't bad... yesterday when I got them out to change them, realized I wasn't sure how to remove the old bearings, and the new bearing I had bought were the wrong bearings.. the hole for the headstock spindle was much too small... I called Jet's tool group this morning and explained situation.. spoke with a very helpful young lady who is sending the correct bearings immediately, no questions asked.
