This is a PSI Chalk Holder in chrome. The wood is Australian coolibah burl from Woodcraft. The finish is Pens Plus. By the way, it does not come with chalk.

Very nice. When I was teaching I used chalk. I even used multiple colors. The university had already made the leap from slate blackboards to chalkboards (green porcelain based enamel on steel) though. Dry erase was just on the cusp then back in the early 1980's. - Dave
