Here is an Atrax rollerball done in a beautiful resin called Cenoté by Bob (Bsea).

Thanks everyone! This was my first effort with an Alumilite blank and, boy, did it turn nice. I like the result and think this will be a go-to material for me in the future.

Didn't take you long to get that one turned!! I remember sending it out just a few days ago. Am wondering what you did for the finishing??


I'm starting to think maybe I need to try turning some of these myself, everyone's turnings are looking really AWESOME!!!

I finished it with a light sanding with 400, wet sanded with Micro Mesh through 12000, then used the Stick It satin and gloss polishes. I have the Bealle polishing system, but I believe that MM gives me a truer finish. I love the material, if only kitless builders are using it, that would be a shame.
