Cedar bowl

I here the latest bowl that I made. Its about 7 x 4 with a laquer finish. Dont think I will do the laquer thing agian. This is the first bowl where I did everything from cutting down the tree to finishing it. I need to work on my picture taking.

nice color in the bowl, I have turned some cedar and had wonderful colors but they always seem to fade to a brownish color. hope yours stays the color it is.

I think cedar always turns red to brown.

Can't fault your picture taking... nor your bowl turning... I like the cedar..
I have 3 trees that was taken down recently and just starting to turn some it of.. the trees were taken down in Sep or Oct... but it's still pretty green.

You have some great color in the bowl.. what kind of lacquer? I haven't found anything that I'm happy with yet.

Nice bowl. The color looks like fire, which seems appropriate.
