Cebloplast serpentine rods

I have 6 cebloplast rods that I believe are called "serpentine". Attached is a pic of one pen that I made from it.

The rods are 5/8"/16mm in diameter and 14"/355mm long.

Asking $40 USD each + shipping. I am in Canada.

Not knowing this material, do you need to line it for threads?

I've only done a few pens in it that needed threads. I used a 4-start tap and it worked well. You may want to post on the pen making board, though, to get a much more expert opinion.
