Here are a couple of Caballero pens I made from Hybrid Blanks I poured in the shop. The wood blanks are red cedar, and the resin used was Alumilite Clear Slow. I carved out the designs in the wood blanks using a scroll saw. These are also my first attempt in making custom finials.
Taking the photos was a challenge. I tried to capture the details of the colors while minimizing shadows, and reflections. I have included photos using indoor lighting as well as natural sunlight. As always, comments, questions, and critiques are encouraged.
