Just finished these 2 Carpenters Pencils from Penn State and they were easy to assemble and look great. They are a little top heavy but nice.
The Red one is made with a Bosonic String Blank by Neil Lyon at RadTurnz on the Gun Metal Kit
The Wood is Stabilized Masur Birch on the Brass Kit.

I like the looks of those. Since I do some woodworking often and some welding (mig and stick) I am always looking for a good marking pencil or two or three or four!

I do not like the regular carpenter pencils that are wide and flat even though I have been around them for 70 years or there-abouts. Good for construction marking, but not for cabinetry/furniture marking, yet I do need a good lead marker.

This is a 2mm lead and seems solid so far.
