Has anyone ever made a pen using true carbon fiber blanks and not the weaves?? Here is a photo of the material. Love to see a pen made from it and would love to hear the do's and don'ts using this. I know CF is dangerous to use in raw form because of the dust and sticking to lungs. But this stuff looks stabilized.

By the way this looks like an interesting site to get materials from. Has anyone use this company??

Here is another interesting blank. Has anyone made this into a pen?

I've used Juma a couple times. I got it at Exoricblanks. Turns pretty easily.

I would be afraid to use a block of CF. That stuff in solid form can really dull a drill bit and saw blade so I can only imagine how hard it would be on a turning tool. Not to mention the dust. I feel itchy just thinking about it. I've cut some thin pieces before and felt like I rolled in a tub of itching powder later that day that lasted a couple days.

Do you have any photos of the Juma on a pen?

I'll have to look. It was a while ago and they were gifted. I've seen some posted here you might be able to find by searching Juma. Also, try a google search on the web. I've seen different colored pens posted in other places that might show up for you.

I had a typo above but I'm sure you knew what I meant. Here's the link to what they have. There are several colors listed in each category.
