I was at one of my customers house fixing a spigot and noticed that he had trimmed some trees. One being a live oak and the other being a sugar maple. I am guessing I should get a good 30solid or more blanks off of each type :)

....i'm not an addict, the judge was just a cranky sh*t with a flagpole up his *** and sent me here, just sign the papers saying i'm not an addict and i'll be on my way

Sorry Chris, I've tried to do things like hide my lathe under piles of wood shavings, let my CA dry up, (except for the 10 or 12 bottles in the freezer) I even cut off a finger so I couldn't do any pens for a while. Pray they find a cure for this horrible addiction!!

I am sorry for the delay in posting these pics. but none the less here they are. This one is a live oak

This one I am not sure excatly what it is so maybe you wood experts can pinpoint the type. It too came from the clearing for the judicial bldg.
