Here's a cane I made for my father in law a couple of months ago, solid bloodwood, brass from Lee Valley Sorry about the poor quality and small size of the photo

That is really a great looking cane. I couldn't tell in the picture, what is the brass thing towards the bottom, or is that part of the door?

That's an ice pic for our COLD winters up here the very bottom of the cane has a brass ferrule
