Hi All,
Two weeks ago I had what I thought was a small medical problem. Went to the E R, and after a blood test, was told I have "Acute Promylocityc Leukemia".

Talk about a wake up call!!!

Well, been in here 2 weeks today, got another 3 -4 weeks to go.

First round of chemo is over and they will be doing another bone marrow biopsy Tues or Wed to see if they got it all.

My prayers are with you. With my brain tumor surgery coming next week, I can feel where you are coming from.

Thoughts and prayers for both you guys. I've had a few medical problems, but pretty minor in comparison. Best of luck to both!

Hey Ron,

We'll all be praying and turning for you. This is the hardest time. Things will work out fine for you. You're a good man, keep the faith. We'll all be here if you need to talk.

Oh man, that's a tough one Ron. A coworker got a "surprise" like that after his yearly physical. It's one tough battle. Take it a day at a time so you can whip it's butt. Positive thoughts for you and yours.

For what it's worth, I had cancer last year, tumor removed from my lung. Lot's of complications, but was back to work in 4 months and have a much smoother out look on life. Good luck and God's speed...if you have family...get lot's of hugs!

Good luck to you! I've had several friends get cancer. Just keep that "unkillable" frame of mind and know that someone cares that you make it and you'll pull through it. Chemo isn't the prettiest of things to do but it can be necessary. May you have the speediest recovery...
