Canarywood bowl

Just getting my feet wet on bowl turning.

It measures 5 1/2 by 2

I was hoping for more shine in the finish, I used Doctor's Woodshop High Build Friction Polish. I may try to apply more later. I was surprised how much darker it made the wood.

I like Canary wood for turning. I don't get much of it... but is does turn nice.

Don't do it, it is addicting, lol, and a lot of fun. I make my own finish with beeswax and mineral oil.

The first bowl I ever turned was of canarywood. As Keith said, you'll find it as addictive as pen making.
