I thought it was a boring game, actually - like watching adults play children, in the third period.

What I really dislike is that once again Crosby did nothing the entire Olympics, but gets a gold in the final game, and is now the hero!

Well done Team Canada! Again....
Not quite sure how anyone can say any Olympic Athlete "Did nothing!"
He may not have done as much as some, maybe more than others it is after all a TEAM sport. They ALL deserve their medals!
Oh yeah! & didn't he score one of the 3 winning goals?
Perhaps you could be PROUD of the achievement instead of being down on one player.... just sayin'

No, I'll exercise my right to think that a multi-million dollar athlete, hyped to the nines, playing against a lot of non NHL'ers, should have been more prolific in the tournament! You can think what you like as well!

Once upon a time, long, long ago, there was a sport event that did not allow professionals. Many violated this rule, they were called "Olympic gold medalists".

Now, professionals are allowed---so, is it "better"??

Congratulations to Canada!! You beat the other best in the world players and teams.

49 out 50 players on Team Canada & Team Sweden have NHL experience under their belt. The Olympic powerhouse teams ALL pretty well are paid professionals. Our 'best' simply beat the rest. Canadian hockey is very good and Crosby is still the finest player on the planet. He did enough to contribute to the gold medal without having to score much. Canada's team was a defensive juggernaut without having to score much. We are very proud of what this team has accomplished and fully celebrate their accomplishment.

You must have seen a different tournament. I'm no Crosby fan but he played hard, was covered by the best players in the world and still did pretty darn good. I'm just glad Canada wasn't represented by any "Leafs"

Beat Sweden for the gold and if I'm not mistaken they had only one "non NHL er"
And if I remember correctly, the Red Wings were stacked with these Swedes when they were winning and contesting for "the Cup"
