I know this may sound like an odd request to make to a forum that is predominantly guys, but I know there are women on the board and hopefully the guys can appreciate the importance of this... or can ask a woman about it! Anyway, I've designed a purse on facebook and the company that you do this through is having a contest where the person whose photo is "liked" the most will win a gift certiticate equal to the number of votes or likes they get, to make their purse. So if you have a facebook account and are willing to cast a vote for me, I'd sure appreciate it. You can go to:

and look for the picture that's posted with my name- Angela Boykin. I'll attach the picture to this post also, so if you just want to scan for the specific picture, that might make it easier, since everyone's pictures moves down as new purses are added. But just in case someone copied my super-spectacular design, please make sure it has my name associated with the picture you "like". Thanks so much!

If you have any friends or family members who'd be willing to "like" my design, I'd appreciate your spreading the word. Since the bags are kind of pricey, if the winner doesn't get enough votes, then they might end up with a gift certificate that won't even cover the cost, so I hope to not only get the most votes, but also enough to pay for the bag (they're giving a gift certificate equal to the number of "likes" you get.).

Hi Jennifer- you actually have to "like" twice apparently- do a like at the top, of the page, and then it'll let you like someone's bag. Thanks so much!
 
Thanks everyone who's voted so far. Jennifer, we're friends now- how'd you get to meet Rascal Flatts? I'm a country music fan, so am jealous!

Mark, it'll be our secret that you're voting for purses.

Thanks everyone who voted- I know that for you men in particular, it was probably hard to be purse-voting, but I sure appreciate it. Sadly, I didn't win, but I'm thinking about calling for a recount and telling them that each vote I got from one of the guys on here, who generally engage in much less wussy activities like pen-turning, than purse-designing, should count for three votes!
