camphor bowl

This bowl is just a simple, plain bowl made of camphor but it is the largest bowl I have turned, thanks to my new Nova lathe. It is 12 1/4" X 4" and finished with 4 coats of Danish oil.

Laurie, a BIL came to see me and had a head cold, head stopped up and couldn't breath, when he left his head had opened up and he was breathing normally.

That's a nice looking bowl. I turned a bowl from camphor once. Brought back childhood memories of my mother putting Vicks vapor rub on my chest when I had a cold
