Cambridge Nib Size

Is the nib a 6 mm or 8 mm. there is an 8 stamped on the nib.

It's a 6MM Nib. I've always found it curious that nib measurement is determined by the feed not the wing span. If you measure the wing span on a 6 MM nib it will be approx. 7.9 to 8.5 MM while at the bottom of the nib where it's tight against the feed it will be right at 6MM
