Cambridge center band holder

Got in a rush to assemble a gift and managed to ruin the plastic center band holder for a hybrid Cambridge rollerball.

Does anyone have a center bank holder (it's the black plastic piece) that I can get? I'm more than willing to purchase and pay for the shipping.

I should have just walked away as soon as I felt myself rushing. Oh well.

It would be a good idea to show a pic. There is the old design and the new design for that piece.

I did not know there was more than one design for the center band holder. Unfortunately, there is not much to look at now that I popped the entire assembly out of the tube with a transfer punch.

The plastic piece holds the two narrow gold bands and larger decorated silver band that make up the center band. It was the only plastic piece in the Cambridge kit - the rest of the parts were all plated.

The "old design" has a visible black band at the bottom of the centerband.

The "new design" has no visible means of support. (It works though)!!

I'll be darn. A little "dumpster diving" and I located the mashed up part.

The part is the "old design" - there is a small black band visible at the bottom of the center band.

Thank you for pointing out the difference in the parts.
