I have made some Barons, but no Caballeros.
I don't have a Caballero kit for comparing with the Baron so wondering if some of you out there can help me out.
I know that the Baron has a nice solid clip which I like. It also has plastic-on-plastic cap to body threads which are nice and smooth for both closing the pen and for posting the cap.
The two kits look very close with similar center band and cap finial but it's hard to tell for sure from pictures.
Just looking for comparisons, from people who have used both, as to general look, shape and size, and other comparisons between the two.
While we are at it, I have heard that the Caballero is very close to the Jr. Gent 1, which I have not used.
Is the Baron also very close to the Jr. Gent 1 ? Wondering if the Jr. Gent 1 name was changed to Baron somewhere along the line because the Baron, Jr. Gent II, and the Full-Size Gent seem to form a progression of increasing size that look pretty much alike in styling otherwise.
