CA vs. Levis

Dumbest question ever, I am sure. As everyone else has done, I have dropped CA glue on my Levis. Is there any way to get this glue out of the jeans??????

Soak the spot in acetone for a few minutes and then pour a teaspoon or tablespoon amount on the spot and wring it back and forth for several seconds.

I have had to get CA out of some good clothes often enough when I just wanted to "put one light coat on" before changing from dress clothes to work clothes! :wink: I haven't had any problem getting CA out doing that.

John just spread a thin even coat on the jeans and tell everyone it is high grade starch. :biggrin:

The recommendations of acetone is 100% correct. De-bonder for CA glues is basically all acetone.

if you dont have acetone on hand just use nail polish remover... its just acetone in a fancy bottle... :biggrin: odds are your wife has some in the medicine cabinet anyway...
