I don't believe any of them are porous enough to have the CA do any good. PERHAPS it might seal out moisture, but that would only be helpful to the horn.

What are you trying to achieve with the acrylics and tru-stone?

Some acrylics seem softer along with the horn. I was just wondering if they need protection from getting little indentations from bumps and such. The Pink Coral Tru-Stone seems so soft that it would absorb dirt, grease or oils. I was thinking the CA would stop some of that.

I have not tried the Pink Coral so I can't say about that one. I don't think they would absorb anything. A lot of foks like to use Renaisance Wax as a final coat. It would act as a sealer and does feel nice on wood. You could always try it and see what you think. Maybe some other opinions will jump in.

I do have some Renaisance Wax, I'll try some and see what happens. Maybe I'm just thinking a pen I make might get some abuse. Hopefully the people I give them to will take care of them.
